The need to start afresh, on a new foundation, with new project at the beginning of the new year, is a deeply human attitude. The New Year is a good time for all hopes of success stories. But no one misses this commitment to wish others what one hopes for oneself : health, happiness and success!
In 1843, the English painter John Calcott Horsley made the first official greeting card. The tradition of the greeting card was born and the spread in Europe as well as in North America after the 1950s.
From now, on it is the best time to share our dearest wishes and especially the perfect moment to confess our loved ones the deepest feelings.
I propose a series of greeting cards : Christmas and New Year.
This series includes 5 original watercolor cards 6 x 4 in. (10 x 15 cm.), all had pained by myself.
At once, these cards can be used as greeting cads and also to be framed as small painting.
